DigiTeRRI and SeeRRI have expanded their network of partners by teaming up with RRI2SCALE and CHERRIES, two fellow RRI-focused projects operating under the Science with and for Society umbrella.
The RRI2SCALE Project seeks to embed and consolidate RRI practices in the fields of “smart cities – smart energy – smart transportation” in four regions across Europe. The project links RRI with regional competitiveness and assists pilot regional authorities to create democratic governance in R&I while fostering innovation at regional scale.

The scope of the CHERRIES Project is to support responsible research and innovation policy experiments in the healthcare sector in three European territories. The project aims to create more open, inclusive, and self-sustaining R&I ecosystems by ensuring bottom-up involvement of all kind of citizens, irrespective of their age, gender, ethnicity and socio-economic background.

This new synergy was launched for these complementary projects to pull together on shared areas of interest, with all four initiatives pledging to cooperate via actions such as:
- Participation in external events and conferences
- Joint production of communication materials
- Potential organisation of webinars and virtual events
- Continuous support and exchange of essential information for promoting territorial RRI
Joining forces in creating open and inclusive R&I ecosystems will clearly benefit everyone involved, using our pool of knowledge to achieve our collective RRI goals.
There is always strength in numbers after all.
And on that note, keep an eye out for more announcements coming soon.
