On Thursday, October 20th, and Friday 21st we held our final conference. The event aimed to give closure to our 3-year project in a 2-day event where we showed the project results and lessons learned from applying the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) approach in the 3 European regions of Styria, Grand Est, and Värmland.
With more than 190 attendees both online and in person, we count on the participation of experts and practitioners in strategic thinking from the whole quintuple helix: industry and business, education and research, academia, government and public organizations, and citizens and NGOs.
It was an opportunity for the territory leads to share the digitalisation strategy roadmaps developed in the framework of the project. Based on the DigiTeRRI experience in all three territories, they showed how Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) might become a key pillar for innovation.
On the second day, participants also enjoyed a guided visit to Austria’s Federal Presidency in the company of our project’s leaders.
The next steps for the consortium are the reporting and end of activities. But for DigiTeRRI’s legacy, there’s still a long run due to the impact that project results may have in other European regions.
We want to thank our organization team and the external staff that made this event possible, as well as all participants, who shared their own approach from the learnings, gained during the conference.
